Year 1 Projects
Graffiti Project Part 1:
Within this project I documented graffiti, of which I was attempting to illustrate the lack of permanency of the medium, through instant film. Furthermore I wanted to educate people on the different styles and types of graffiti, as well as the bizarre places it shows up.

Term 1
Project: One
About the project:
This project was about understanding certain principles of photography, where we explored one principle per segment of the project. They included the following; Composition, Focal Length, Lighting, and Depth of Field. Of which when completed we then proceed to do an expansion of one of these, I choose Depth of field.

Project: Verb
For this project I had to pick a verb that I needed to illustrate in my work, I choose to use the work Burn. As a result I decide to use an analogue medium of 35mm film to capture image of a vintage aesthetic, of which I would later burn. Below features images I felt that made strong photographs, as well as outcomes that illustrated the word Burn particularly well.

Project: Transform
Within this project we had to transform objects in some fashion using photographic techniques, I chose to transform graffiti materials from being boring discarded waste to something that could be deemed interesting. Thus I explored creating GIF and Typologies with discarded graffiti waste.

Project: Self-Portrait
In this project we explored methods of creating self portraits images to illustrate aspects of ourselves. A strong focus for me on this project was to represent the fact I don’t like to be photographed, thus I employed a variety of techniques to obscure or represent my identity.

Vaping Praxis Project:
This personally designed brief, I looked at documenting the impacts of vaping on society. I also created free posters, found bellow, that people can download and print and there leisure.
Information regarding vaping:
Through out the project I’ve been continuously looking at contextual research to support the foundation of the project. I highly recommend that you read through some of the information to get a broader over view of disposable vapes and vaping in general.
